When your choices are restricted, or not available at all...

do as the Cubans...

meaning...

keep your ICE car as long as you can...

and repair that vehicle forever, or as needed.

The Cubans had no American cars available for purchase or use, once Castro took over, and the Cubans kept their old jalopies working, with as many repairs as possible.

EVs can’t be repaired inexpensively, so, keeping them around does not make sense. ICE vehicle repairs will be expensive in the future, but still cheaper than repairing EVs.

The #1 automobile worldwide that still is on the roads happens to be the 1970’s era Chevrolet Impala.

Had a Honda atv that got stuck in two gears. The shop refused to even split the case stating that it was too old and parts weren’t available.

I saw a YouTube video awhile back with all the typical 1950s Chevys.
However, the one that I thought was great was a 1950s Willey’s Jeep paint Turquoise Blue. It looked pretty sweet.
