I watch the weather channel for comic relief and nothing else......their whole business model is based on breathlessly keeping people constantly on edge......sad part is there’s a whole lot of weak minded people believing every word.
My dear mother, God rest her soul, used to have TWC and CNN on all the time in her later years. Whenever I would go there to take care of her, I would change the channels after she got an update, and then put on old tv shows or old movies for her. Or no TV. We’d go outside and take walks around the yard and look at plants and the birds and things.
