I'm still pastoring part time at a nondenominational methodist church. They're very independent. There was a solid discussion at Wednesday night bible study about dropping the word methodist... it is a ruined name given the lgbtq+ drag queen UMC. I didn't initiate the conversation.
I imagine they would stay independent of any denomination. Too much baggage, and satan loves to slowly infiltrate hierarchies.

I’m still in IT and working for a well known company. There aren’t too many people working here at my age! I hope to retire in 4 years. I have a very visible job so my time is precious.

It was just getting too expensive and the government in CA is literally insane.
Tennessee is a good place. Beautiful and well run. No state income tax.
