Not really, DeSantis has no significant experience as a civilian lawyer. Trump’s AG needs to be a tough, loyal SOB who knows where the levers of power are in the Department of Justice and is willing to use them to advance Trump’s agenda.

DeSantis has no significant experience as a civilian lawyer.

He was a JAG officer, Navy lawyer.
