“Anti American Aggression”?
What does that even mean?
The simple fact is they don’t want America to dictate the use of American military assets.
FINE! Let them do it themselves.
We have bailed them out, before. Maybe we can do it again...
“First and foremost it is worth acknowledging that the demise of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century,” Putin said. “As for the Russian people, it became a genuine tragedy. Tens of millions of our fellow citizens and countrymen found themselves beyond the fringes of Russian territory. “The epidemic of collapse has spilled over to Russia itself,” he said, referring to separatist movements such as those in Chechnya.
You don’t have to sell me I’m already voting for the guy.
Let them achieve their dream of a pan-EU military and you’ll see what it means.
We never “bailed them out”. They declared war on us and we defeated them. What happened was the left in the USA rebuilt them in the image of the USSR. That is not an entity you want to grant self-control to—and Trump never, ever proposed such a thing, frankly, but for them to pay to what they explicitly agreed to instead of shirking their responsibilities.
Believe it or not, the British may actually be an enemy of the US Republic.
Totally rational.
He has blown $200billion in going on 2 1/2 years in Ukraine.
GDP $2trillion.
He is borrowing at 16%.
War game who maxes out the credit card first, him or my wife.
“The United States of America should not be paying to defend other countries.”
NATO existed so that the U.S. military could start fighting the Warsaw Pact at the inter-German border and not have to start back at Normandy like in 1944.
We disagree on the outcome, obviously.
We bailed out the European community in WWI and WWII. We failed (the lefitsts succeeded) in rebuilding them as truly freedom based societies.
I never submitted the DJT proposed anything but paying their own way for the current model.
I don’t agree that the current model is the right one.
Not looking too good here in USA either.
I don’t think NATO is going anywhere short term. Europe
isn’t very relaxed right now with what is taking place in
the East.
If the US were to drop out, Europe would need to keep what
remained as well prepared as it could.
Anything else is end game fatal.
Wow. By the time the election comes, try to imagine if you can, the unhinged “predictions” we’re gonna be treated to.
Like...The AP is reporting that the CIA has irrefutable evidence, if elected Trump will start his reshaping of America by nuking New York, LA and Chicago. Next, he will begin rounding up and imprisoning elected Democrats. Trump vows there will never be another Democrat President. Trump is eager to begin to emulate his hero, Castro, and plans to rule with dictatorial power until his death. Trump will demand all Americans bow down in his presence.
Twice they (and it was the same country at the center of what we call the “axis”) declared war on us and twice we defeated them; and we had the ill fortune of having leftist presidents both times, who regrew them into the same malicious entity but worse each time.
What happened with NATO is that Clinton handed “them” control back in the 1990s. Remember that? He actually put US troops under “their” command to divide up the Balkans for “them”. Since then “they” had the notion that they could dictate to the USA . . . and then Trump came along . . .
Was the UN ejected, too?
Yeh, that’s kind of the plan. 😆
“a recent wargame found”
GIGO. They may as well said “Ouija board”.
Climate “scientists” programmed this computer war game.
Start with the desired outcome and code it back to the beginning.
fwiw it is the same across the board.
5% of every one of our healthcare bills is R & D as Europe no longer contributes jack.
It is the same with innovation in general.
This is despite the VAT tax which see’s them taking on avg twice as much GDP in taxes vs us. In spite as much as the underlying cause of little to no innovation Europe.
Baloney
Why would a country choose to shoulder 100% of its own defense, rather than contribute its fair percentage to NATO?
let’s see, you pay MORE for defense and lose the commitment of America to defend you.
Not real likely.
Oh. A Game. Well that settles it then.
Last time Trump did something I have watched every single American president even including Ronaldus Magnus try and fail to achieve. He actually got the Yurps to spend more on Defense and start getting serious about providing for their own Defense instead of just relying on Uncle Sugar to pay for everything for them. Seems to me more Trump is just what NATO needs.
