The news of a contentious and allegedly stolen diary of the US President's daughter has surfaced time and again online. Latest reports have emerged stating that Ashley Biden has sent a letter to a New York Judge acknowledging the diary is true. However, these reports are not confirmed at the moment. Wading into the controversy, a fact-checking website named Snopes has claimed that the contents written by the First Daughter in her journal are true.
The 'leaked diary' which was sold to a Conservative self-claimed media outlet Project Veritas mentioned the sexual trauma the author faced at a very young age and an alleged page of it on "showers with my dad (probably not appropriate)." Why hasn't this story alone ended Joe Biden's presidency, wrote journalist Tara Bull on X implying that the allegations against the US President are true.
Earlier, a Manhattan Court sentenced a woman named Aimee Harris for stealing the personal diary of Ashley. The 41-year-old reportedly sold the journal kept safe with a friend in Delray Beach to the Conservative Advocacy Group for $20,000. Harris, who later claimed that she needed resources to raise her two children, was also in touch with Donald Trump's re-election campaign in 2020 for the contentious piece of information about then Democrat-frontrunner.
Several people started reacting to the news after Snopes changed its fact-check on Ashley's diary from "unproven" to "true" citing a letter by the first daughter.
"This is huge and should never be ignored. Disqualifying to say the least," a user took to X demanding an action against the US President.
"We knew it was real the day FBI tried arresting people saying someone stole the diary," said another.

The person who claims to have found the diary under the bed/mattress in the same room of a house in Florida that Ashley Biden had previously stayed in. Ashley left it there when she left along with some other possessions.
The woman who sold the diary has since been charged with a crime. Which she plead guilty to.

If a person finds an abandoned diary, how is that “stealing”? Abused people often leave evidence lying around, unconsciously hoping someone will help them make it stop. Hunter’s abandoned laptop, for instance.
