The correct thing to do is to treat them as POWs. Transfer them to a POW camp in the Negev Desert. They'll have to undergo dehamasification (if that's possible). Whole of Gaza Strip is going to have to be transformed into a Stasi style police state.

Israel probably does not have the tolerance to do that.

So it's likely Hamas will regroup and attack Israel in a couple years after the West and the Gulf States help them to rebuild Gaza.
