Wouldn’t be the first time you were right
Did I hear correctly: Adam Smith compared Biden to Reagan?
The hard left is so jaded they wgo after trump on anything
Minimum 10 points in our favor.
That’s what I would feel more comfortable with.
Hoping to see you at end of month.
Coming down to fish with a friend out of marathon.
Any suggestions of where to head. He comes down each year from Jupiter fla so is familiar but as you know local knowledge can make a big difference
Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that President Donald Trump was on trial in New York because President Joe Biden “has a failed record as commander-in-chief.”
Vance said, “Donald Trump is not on trial for sexual indiscretions. This is a sham trial where they’re saying his misdeeds is violated the law that he committed a crime you can’t throw somebody in prison in the middle of a presidential election because you think that he did something bad ten years ago. So I think we have to separate these arguments from the actual criminal trial, that’s attempting to in my view, Dana interfere in a presidential election.”
He added, “The only thing that Alvin Bragg and the New York prosecutors team, thinks Donald Trump did wrong is that he ran for president in 2024, and it looks to be on the cusp of victory. That is the only thing that this is ultimately about. If you look at the underlying argument of the case, they can’t even identify what it is that Donald Trump did. They said he committed a paperwork violation in the service of a crime, but they won’t even specify the crime that he allegedly committed.”
“And I think that when you look at all of these attacks on Donald Trump, you have to, you have to be honest with yourself and say, this is not about law and this is not about justice, this is about the fact that president Joe Biden has a failed record as commander-in-chief and leader in this country and the Democrats can’t talk about that,” Vance added. ‘So what they’re doing is putting these trials out there and saying focus on this, not on the fact that the world is on fire, and the fact that you have gotten poor under the presidency of Joe Biden.”
I remember a hit piece on Trump early in his previous administration suggesting that he picks people based on looks. They tried to make it appear bigoted, such as he wanted accountants and lawyers to look Jewish, or spokeswomen beautiful, etc.
Meanwhile many Dems are butt ugly….
Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the United States should allow Israel to finish the job of ending Hamas.
Vance said, “I think there are two big problems with the Biden administration is doing. First of all, it’s a fundamentally incoherent policy on the one hand, they’re saying too many Palestinian civilians have been killed with the other hand, there are depriving is the Israelis of the precision guided weapons that actually cut down on civilian casualties. So if you’re worried about Palestinian casualties, these stated policy here actually doesn’t make a ton of sense.”
He continued, “The fundamental problem here, is the Israelis have a goal in mind. Hamas started a war by murdering a large number of israeli civilians. and now that they’re 80% defeated, they’re throwing up their hands and saying, uncle. Now, yeah, palestinian civilian casualties is a real issue and our heart certainly goes out to them. we have to ask ourselves, why are palestinian civilian casualties so high? It’s because Hamas started the war and now they hide behind Palestinian civilians. so if you want to learn the lessons, i think of the last 40 years, the most important thing is we have to defeat Hamas as a viable a military organization. You’re never going to defeat the ideology of Hamas, but you can root out those commanders, those final military trained battalions. I think we should empower the Israelis to do it.”
Vance added, “Our goal in the Middle East should be to allow the Israelis to get to some good place with Saudi Arabians and other Gulf Arab states. There is no way that we can do that unless the Israelis finished the job with Hamas. If they can’t even do that, the attitude of the Middle East will be, you can’t trust these guys. They’re not pursuing their own national security. So we’ve got to let them finish this job, but I think hopefully on the other end of it, get two new era in the Middle East.”
George Stuffinenvelopes...What a guy!
Maybe Connecticut will find a car trunk loaded with Ballots....
For Trump!! 🤓
You should look at Generac Generators. When the power goes off, it automatically starts ..we have one..
I’m not sure how to wire this without hiring an expensive electrician.
I only lose power maybe once every 12-18 months in the 30 years I lived here. Only twice over 24 hours.
no way things are that close no way at all.
OMG, horrible! Check everything; many things can be re-frozen, but I suppose you know the situation. A chest freezer will stay cold longer, but that and five pennies will get you a nickle right about now. I have a full freezer, too and we are talking a lot of $$$$.
And then the wind clean up. First the logs, then the branches, then the twigs. Takes forever. Royal PITA.
Take care!
By then the dolphin season will be well under way. Start at 200 feet and go on out to as far as you dare. If you have radar look for birds, bigger the better, weed lines early in the day are productive, the thicker the better. Some go for miles. Current edges are good water temps can make a difference look for cooler water.
Humps, undersea ledges and coral formations always good, deep dropping in 200’-1200’ excellent, blackfin tuna, a few blue marlin and occasional sailfish.
Reef bite can be good as well, lots of yellowtail some grouper—careful for sharks, mutton snapper,a few gray snapper and other scallywags.
Gulf side is good further out you go the better. permit, a few cobia, snappers some grouper jewfish release only etc.
Tarpon season winds down in June over by july 4th.
You can buy generators for the entire house, or small ones that may do a couple of appliances. If you want to do the entire home, likely need to tap into the power box and set up the swithces. However, for small one, you simply start them, and plug your appliance (freezer, frig, etc) directly into them with an extension, bypassing the power box, so no need to hire electricians.
I have come to believe that the lessons of history aren't learned by history. They have to be learned first hand, and then it is too late.
Understand. Going full bore on a problem that only happens once every few years is not financially provident.
I see a few propane (dual fuel) generators on Facebook Marketplace I think might be just the ticket.
My brother, the mechanic, laughs at me for how many gas-powered things I’ve ruined over the years—garden tractors, tillers, lawnmowers, chainsaws, weed whackers...
My research show propane won’t have this kind of old fuel problem, and yes I do use gas stabilizer.
yup. Over and over again, generation to generation.
Whatever. It in no way detracts from the message of the article itself. Europe is committing suicide with its energy policies and we are not far behind. The Biden Administration is de-industrializing the US, principally thru the EPA.
2. The Germans - as in the more populous WEST Germany and the BIG Business leadership there, CHOSE Russian Gas as their "green" energy. Germany had Nuclear power that was inexpensive and they CHOSE to shut it down.
The Greens have long dominated Germany's energy policies. However, I disagree with the Germans decoupling from Russian energy, gas and oil. It was far cheaper than US LNG and other sources of energy. The demonization of Russia, primarily by the Dems and neocons, led to emotional policy decisions. Germany went along with US sanctions and accepted quietly the blowing up of Nordstream 2. The sanctions on Ukraine have backfired damaging Europe more than they hurt Russia. Increased costs for fertilizers and energy have hurt the consumer. The European elections in June should prove damaging to the left and globalists. Nationalism is surging.
Shutting down their nuclear plants was just another stupid decision by the Germans.
As for German car manufactures, they chose to bet big on Chines consumers, that bet is also now "kaput".
The bigger mistake was going all EV. Mercedes and BMW are backing down now. People don't want them and the infrastructure is not there. If it were up to the European political elites, they would make automobiles prohibitively expensive and force most of the public into public transportation.
I watch German news every day. My wife is German. It is depressing to see how much Germany has declined--unnecessarily. We are doing the same thing.
