it took several thousands of years for the germanic people to develop into the teutonic knights of the Crusades and then the small but powerful Prussians of the late middle ages. Those traditions knowledge training pride and frankly gene pool are gone from Germany and what took 1000s of years to create would not be rebuilt in a generation. There is no “warrior ethos” left in Germany. They can conscript everyone, but there is no warrior ethos to do the training or receive the training. At best, the German army is like a weak peace corps.
