Yeah The US Constitution sure did allow it . And then fought a war to end it and won it. The Confederate Constitution enshrined slavery , and a launched a war to preserve it and in the end lost. Although the Norths primary purpose was to preserve the Union AND end slavery, and it succeeded in both, And yeah Reb, I always start in on your Rebs because when first coming here I was called a “Lincoln boot licker’’, a ‘’liberal stooge who should go post at “”MOVE ON’’ was psychically threatened by the key board commandos here, ha, real tough guys, and had other epithets tossed at me. *Yawn* Grade school stuff.

And called every name in the book for the soul sin of being a ‘’Liberal Lincoln Boot Lickin’ Yankee Antifa stooge’’.

So yeah, after I made my argument, stated the facts, like the South started the war to preserve slavery and lost I like to throw in a verbal left hook as it were(verbal. I’m not threatening anyone here, I would never do that) to the one note Willies here who keep parroting the same tune you and you Reb buddies keep putting out.

Yeah The US Constitution sure did allow it. And then the tyrant Lincoln unconstitutionally started a war to end it and impose government rule on people who did not consent to it.

FIFY

The Confederate Constitution enshrined slavery,,/P>

Just like the US Constitution did.

and a launched a war to preserve it and in the end lost.

That's a pure lie. There was no reason to start a war to preserve slavery since slavery was not threatened in the US.

Although the Norths primary purpose was to preserve the Union AND end slavery, and it succeeded in both

Yet another lie.

"The problem with this lofty rhetoric of dying to make men free was that in 1861 the North was fighting for the restoration of a slaveholding Union. In his July 4 message to Congress, Lincoln reiterated the inaugural pledge that he had 'no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with slavery in the States where it exists.'" (McPherson, Ordeal By Fire, p. 265)

In July 1861, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution, by a nearly unanimous vote, that affirmed that the North was not waging the war to overthrow slavery but to preserve the Union (Klingaman, Abraham Lincoln and the Road to Emancipation, pp. 66-70).

And yeah Reb, I always start in on your Rebs because when first coming here I was called a “Lincoln boot licker’’, a ‘’liberal stooge who should go post at “”MOVE ON’’ was psychically threatened by the key board commandos here, ha, real tough guys, and had other epithets tossed at me. *Yawn* Grade school stuff.

As I said you always start it so it always gets dealt right back to you.

So yeah, after I made my argument, stated the facts, like the South started the war to preserve slavery and lost

But you see, that's a lie, not a fact. A fact is that Lincoln was a tyrant who started the war for money and empire.
