Yes, the airman has a gun pointed to the ground …. Then the officer shot him six times, only after shooting him six times did the officer shout drop the gun.

This ink has a still of the airman with the gun and also the full body cam video

Quite clear that the officer overreacted; The airman had the gun pointed to the ground not at the officer and the airman did not act aggressively at all

That video shows a murder. The Airman did absolutely nothing that was a threat to that officer. He overreacted to the mere sight of a firearm.

Yes,in a different set of circumstances it could surely be said that the cop overreacted. But this cop was responding to a domestic disturbance. Anyone who spends as much time as I do watching The Crime Channel (I'm retired) knows that domestics *often* turn ugly thanks to a filthbag psychopath guy with a gun...a knife...and a diagnosis of schizophrenia. And then you add to that the fact that he was sent to the wrong apartment.

Given *those* undeniable facts I'm not sure I'd use the word "overreacted".

Yes,of course it was tragic...very tragic. But if I'm a juror in the civil trial the only votes of "financially liable" I'm gonna cast are against the people who were responsible for the cop going to the wrong apartment.
