To the contrary, I think the cop is perfectly suited to the way the government works and most likely to the way he was trained. Most people aren't trained to instantly open fire at the merest suggestion of potential danger like cops are. It takes training to get that kind of reaction, because most decent folks are conditioned from childhood that you can't just kill someone because you are frightened. That has to be drilled out of them under the mantra of "officer safety", because their lives are so much more important than some common citizen who doesn't happen to wear the magical blue suit of accountability elimination. The government doesn't care how many citizens have to die to support the police state
