I was the only student in the history at UTK that took a proficiency exam in parasitology and walked out with four hour credit in the 4000 level course with an “A”. There are many parasites that are not primarily human parasites that infect humans and get lost...ending up in the brain. One can be infected in a myriad of ways...ingestion or insect bites.

I knowe it- very scary to think about really- something as ‘innocuous’ as gardening (Something people say is ‘healthy and natural and good for us’) can lead to all kinds of nasty bugs, parasites, infections etc- heck, just a little scratch can lead to horrible outcomes

life really is a crap-shoot - I’ve suffered from soemthign that has stolen my stamina/strength and caused bad brain fog for over 40 years now- it just hit out of hte blue really- and just got worse and worse- I’ve wracked my tired brain for all those years now trying to find the cause and possible cure or help- but to no avail- not saying it’s a parasite- but who the heck knows?
