So the Florida classified documents case has been removed from the trial calendar. Now the Georgia case will be delayed further while the Appeals court reviews the disqualification decision.
Meanwhile, the NY case has turned into a dumpster fire of legal errors. Any guilty verdict will almost certainly be overturned on appeal.
The Democrats have watched their dreams of seeing Trump marched into prison prior to November go up in a puff — or two — of smoke.
The game is to tie Trumpsters hands and keep him busy with lawfare rather than campaigning. They know he won last time and they know he will win again so they are throwing the kitchen sink at him. This is what happens when you have swamp creatures in Foggy Bottom who are more concerned about raping the treasury than promoting the well being of the nation.
It is my understanding (I am not a lawyer BTW) that, in the state of Georgia, when an interlocutory appeal is filed and accepted by an appellate court, the proceedings in the lower court are generally stayed (temporarily halted) until the appeal is resolved. (An interlocutory appeal is an appeal of a trial court's decision that is made before the trial is concluded.)
Typically, appeals are filed after a final judgment has been made. However, in some cases, a party may seek an interlocutory appeal to challenge a specific ruling made by the trial court during the course of the proceedings.
This means that the trial court cannot move forward with the case until the appellate court has made a decision on the issue being appealed.
The purpose of the stay is to prevent the trial from moving forward based on a potentially erroneous ruling. If the trial were to continue and the appellate court later determined that the ruling was incorrect, it could result in a waste of time and resources, and potentially prejudice the parties involved.
Once the appellate court has made its decision on the interlocutory appeal, the stay is lifted, and the trial court proceedings can resume (or not) in accordance with the appellate court's ruling.
Every single court case has been a mass of corruption, lies and false charges, but I credibly the left keep ignore tly claiming “noone is above the law” and feign humi, ity by intimation that they “didn’t want to have to charge a former president, but justice must be done”
Anyone who supports the left these days has to see just how freakin corrupt the left are, and have to see that the court cases are all just political interference all because either the prosecutors or the judges, or perhaps both, hate Trump on a personal level.
The ,eft scream about “justice” while breaking the law, the rules and ethics every atep of the way!
The left are trying everything they can to interfere with Trumps right to run! Had this been the gop doing these things to a Democrat candidate, all hell would break loose, and every court case would have been thrown out of court and declared mistrial for “proxecutorial misconduct” “election interference” and “conflicts of interest”
Well something else "went up" thanks to the overzealous crazed TDS Dems, his poll numbers. Even a blind person can see this is lawfare, ugly corrupt lawfare
All of these case were engineered to awaken the public and distract from ongoing operations by Trumps people. Trump is not going to jail and Trump is not going to pay out millions in awards.
...not to mention the pending SCOTUS decision which may end all of the cases, permanently.
