My understanding is two members of the jury are attorneys. They have to know how over the top this case had become. Of course politics can enter their decision but hard to imagine one ruling Trump as guilty when they still have not established the actual crime.

True, and his legacy will be sealed in history as the judge who purposefully and willfully allowed a corrupted case to go forward with the single intent of HIS to obstruct and interfere with a Presidential election - really a p*ss poor legacy even for an activist judge.

Of course it can. The same way it became a case in the first place. We absolutely cannot assume that an appeal will be cleaner or more fair that what’s going on now.
