My wife and I were looking for vacations. Greece was on the list. Then I thought about it some more and decided that instead we will look at Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands. The rest of Europe is rotting like spoiled fish.
Asia is out. Too far, even for first class. For some reason, the last place on earth I would want to visit which is Columbia seems to be the best choice along with Costa Rica.
Are there any other countries which are relatively calm that isn’t an Island?
I recommend Central Europe: Poland, Czechia, Hungary, especially.
My husband and I went to Greece last year for 11 days and the entire trip was lovely.
