Convicted and sentenced to time-served...which was seven days. (just guessing here)
I went to buy razor blades today on the San Fran Peninsula at Walgreens. Everything was locked up.
It doesn’t to be this way. We were once a civilized society.
“Between Oct 3, 2020, and Nov. 16, 2021,
she entered the store, brought items to the self-checkout,
scanned them, and inserted “a single coin or bill”
into the machine before leaving the store,
jurors determined.”
Visited the “same Target store 120 times in just over a one-year period...inserted a single coin or bill into the machine before leaving the store.”
And to think I’m worried if I used two of their shopping bags and told the machine I only used one bag (they charge for the bags).
60K?! This is why retailers are moving away from self checkout.
One grand theft felony and 52 misdemeanors.
If she had only kept that one under $950, she’d be walking and “shopping” at Target tomorrow.
Last visit to New York in November 23 …. At Duane Reade everything is locked up. You push a little pager to get a salesperson to come free the merchandise.
Demographic changes and selective enforcement of law got us here.
Try getting in the liquor cabinet at Wallys. One needs a pinch bar and hammer.
I recently came across these youtube videos about shoplifters caught in the act.
Target and Walmart are two favorite stores for them to shop at.
Of course, the retailers have to raise prices to cover the pilferage.

In this case, the People alleged that Ms. Graves had entered Target located at the Stonestown Galleria on dozens of occasions between the dates of October 3, 2020, through November 16, 2021, and repeatedly stole merchandise with a total value in excess of $60,000. Ms. Graves would enter Target, and then immediately proceed to select merchandise from the shelves. She would then proceed to the self-checkout counter where she would scan each item, insert a nominal amount, such as a single coin or bill, and then exit the store.
She is now free on bond until a court date later this month. Do you think she’ll show up for her sentencing? Neither do I.
“It’s always Them, Boo Boo.”
She should have acted along with lots of social conscious friends and made up something like honoring George Floyd. This man with a hammer brought his pals.
“If I had a hammer, I’d hammer out justice, I’d hammer out love between all of my brothers, all over this land.”
Blades have been locked up for a long time before this recent spate of theft. Because they are so darn expensive, they had been the top stolen item from stores. And because they are so darn expensive and then locked up and a hassle to get a clerk to open, it created opportunity for companies like “dollar shave club” and “harry’s” to go online and become huge companies.

FBI is monitoring our forum so now you are in for it, unfortunately.
We’ll add your name to the Free Trump signs in the marches.
