Kristi Noem Denies Kim Jong Un Meeting Was ‘Untrue’
Breitbart ^ | 05/07/2024 | Pam Key

Posted on 05/07/2024 9:25:35 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD) said Monday on NewsNation’s “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” that her alleged meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was not removed from her book because it was “untrue.”

Vargas said, “You write about North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. You’ve been question several times on last couple of days because you’ve issued a retraction. You said that it shouldn’t have been in the book, this passage, that it was a mistake. Why shouldn’t that have been in the book? Is that untrue?”

Noem said, “No. What I said is that when this was pointed out that we we made adjustment to what the content was in the book. I’ve met many world leaders around the world. I’ve been to the DMZ. I’ve been traveling for years and years talking to world leaders. Just that name should not be in the book and I’m not going to discuss those personal meeting.”

“That’s fine, but why even put this story in the book?”

I don’t know what point she was trying to make. I haven’t read the book or the context in which it was presented. But, again, in her world it’s not a controversial issue. Neither is it to me. The rest of your comment is off the subject and I don’t care to take it up.

Vicious dog? What I read is that she killed it because it wasn’t good at hunting. Nothing about being vicious.

So, the dog was a menace? Please explain just how you know this. From what I’ve read she killed it because it wasn’t a good hunting dog. I am not in her circle of friends, so we can only guess at what we’ve read is correct or not.

“So, the dog was a menace? Please explain just how you know this.”

Because that is what she said, in more than one interview, including two that I have heard.

Ok. You don’t know a damned thing about me, which shows your ignorance and whether or not I’ve ever lived on a farm doesn’t matter, although I’ve worked on a few. Shooting a dog is just wrong, but I guess you think it’s just another day in the barn shoveling shit.

Vicious dog? What I read is that she killed it because it wasn’t good at hunting. Nothing about being vicious.

You might try reading some of the press accounts instead of suckling at the teat of PMSNBC and XiNN:

Noem describes calling Cricket, then using an electronic collar to attempt to bring her under control. Nothing worked. Then, on the way home after the hunt, as Noem stopped to talk to a local family, Cricket escaped Noem’s truck and attacked the family’s chickens, “grabb[ing] one chicken at a time, crunching it to death with one bite, then dropping it to attack another”.

Cricket the untrainable dog, Noem writes, behaved like “a trained assassin”.

When Noem finally grabbed Cricket, she says, the dog “whipped around to bite me”.

Can we have your new take on the subject now that you've become aware that the dog was vicious?

You admit that you're a troll, then.

You're read that the dog whipped around to attack her, and you're still pretending that it didn't happen.

YOU are the one who is full of bullsqueeze, Dumbnivore-Dan, Noem-hating troll.

Why do you invoke your ignorance about who my sources were??

“PMSNBC” nor “XiNN” nor ABC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC/NBC/NPR are NOT on my information radar. For you to assume otherwise is your own projection and nothing else.

I think the mistake was to go into detail about the dog killing.

Had she said, “I’ve lived on a farm all my life. You do things that are necessary, but hard. I’ve had to put animals down, that were life long pets, horses, cattle. I once took in a dog that was too aggressive for the family that raised it. I tried to train it to hunt, but the dog was vicious, killing chickens, biting me and at the time my kids were young, and I worried about the dog biting them. So, I put it down.”

etc etc etc. No one would have thought twice about it.

Why she humanized the dog, with pictures no less is beyond my comprehensionl

I was posting to Dumbnivore-Dan, and included you in the ping because he trash-talked your response.

Your post was entirely correct. Another case of FR friendly fire. :)

Her ghost-writer or collaborator had some responsibility for that issue.

I doubt she wrote the book from scratch herself, without direction or consultants.

Another RepukeLicking circular firing squad - just like with George Santos.

Trump is the last Republican that I'm ever voting for because of this kind of bullsqueeze from the RePukes.

If George Santos had been a Democrat, this is what we would have seen:

The Democrat phalanx

With Santos and Noem, this is what we see:

The Republican/conservative herd of cats

“Can we have your new take on the subject now that you’ve become aware that the dog was vicious?”

I had a young dog do that to me. I grabbed him by the throat, lifted him on to his hind feet, chewed him out and told him he’d be food for the vultures if he ever even THOUGHT about it again.

He didn’t. Died of old age after years as a good family pet.

BTW - It wouldn’t bother me to shoot a dog, but I’m not DUMB enough to think it is a resume enhancer.

As for Noem, I soured on her when she lied about signing the transgender ban. Soured more reading about her affair. And even if the dog story wasn’t DUMB, the Kim Jong Un story is bat-shit crazy!
