And the other thing that’s so absurd about the election tampering allegation is that this was a private accounting ledger for which there would be no reason to expect that it would become public. Claiming that Trump mis-represented the ledger entry in order to hide something, when there was no expectation that it would ever become public in the first place, is just one more absurd claim that the prosecution is trying to sell. The entry only became known because the ledger was seized when Michael Cohen’s office was raided.
