Prof. Shai Davidai, a lecturer at Columbia University, which recently suffered from violent anti-Israel protests, published an open letter to Israeli academics expressing his concern for their imminent harm.
"To all my friends who research and lecture in Israel, it's hard for me to say this, but it's important that you know. You will be the first to be harmed," Davidai
He mentioned that "The processes are already in motion and although you don't feel it yet, it's coming. And when it arrives, it will be too late to act".
"It will start almost without you noticing. Articles that won't be accepted for publication and lectures that won't be accepted at conferences. Professional organizations that will endorse boycotts. Seminar lectures that won't take place. Sabbatical years that will be harder to find. And research funds, of course," he added.

“”Correct - for those that didn’t actually read the article, he is Jewish and essentially he’s warning against version 2 of Nazi Germany.””
There ought to be a lot of red faces by now...but I somehow believe it won’t happen - nor will apologies.
It’s like trying to talk sense to a 2 year old. Maybe if they study it real hard, they’ll get it by the end of the day. And APOLOGIZE for jumping to conclusions without taking the time to read the actual article.
You mean, your articles were rejected for publication, and your lectures weren’t accepted at conferences?
And now they’re doing that wholesale to all Jews?!
Think about your thinking. It’s bass ackwards. He’s talking as an academic, to other academics, about academic concerns, but affecting Israelis. It already affected Jordan Peterson, but not because he’s conservative. He’s not. He just wouldn’t swallow gender pronouns. And since when are the terms conservative and Jew mutually exclusive. Bibi’s father was a conservative professor, member of Irgun in fact. Conservative academics are few and far between these days, so they can’t be discriminated against as a group, because they are gone, with a few exceptions such as Thomas Sowell, systematically weeded out.
Please formulate your argument more coherently.
I’m more concerned that he is oblivious to the heinous violence being practiced against his students on account of their being Jewish. Are you saying that non-Jewish conservative students were barred from entering campus, stabbed in the eye, beaten to death with bullhorns, or beaten to a bloody pulp while the campus administration did nothing?
As for the Academics, you are right that they had a hand in fomenting this mess, both Jewish and non-Jewish academics. But f@#$ the lot of them. The fact that they are unconcerned with the violence against students is what bothers me. They are not teachers, just circle jerkers.

“Think about your thinking. It’s bass ackwards. He’s talking as an academic, to other academics, about academic concerns, but affecting Israelis. “
Duh, exactly.
He is saying to academics in Israel: help save us from the exclusionary process that we gleefully participated in creating (by a supermajority) and used against conservatives for decades.
This is who this clown is. He previously wanted to cancel the police, and now he demands a police escort on campus.
“...If you have it, though, you’re in for life...”
Not so much anymore, especially if you’re declared “guilty” of some doubleplusungood thoughtcrime in the court of the media and/or public opinion.
Good examples being how Dr. Jordan Peterson got hauled in front of the tenure review board at University of Toronto, and how the professor, who was my Master’s Degree supervisor likewise found his tenure under review, when he went to Ottawa a couple years back, and spoke at the Freedom Convoy protests (for obvious reasons, I’m not going to mention his name).
There was also a prof at my Alma Mater during undergrad, that got his tenure revoked, when a few female students complained that he harassed them. I didn’t feel sorry for the guy, because he really WAS a pompous, insufferable a-hole, who thought he was better than everyone else because he got his doctorate at MIT, and had been “reduced” to the indignity of teaching at a mid-tier Canadian university (horror of horrors)
ACADEMIC (ak-uh-DEM-ik): An individual educated beyond his intelligence who is unwilling or unable to create or provide anything of value to others, who while hiding out in a think-tank, college or university pontificates and expects to be paid for it, usually from public funds.
True and haven’t we all run into people like that long before FR?
I’m sorry you have a reading disorder, I said to those who vote for and support Democrats, not all Jews. moron
Talk to me whenever you either grow up or resolve your Turrets, whichever comes first. In the mean time, I have no idea what the context of your remark is, and since I’m a “moron” I’m not inclined to look it up. Dale Carnegie. Look him up.
As I said you must have a reading disorder or you are a moron.
My statement was directed at Jews who donate to and bote for communist democrats. And you know very well it is what I said.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
It’s true. I do. I don’t read posts by people who open with an insult. So have fun.
I did not open my first post with an insult. I only returned your insult in my reply.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
For the record, for those of you who give a damn about this endless p!ssing match, I made no personal insults to you. I said your argument was dumb, not you. Since you took it personally despite that fact, I now make the appellation “dumb” about you. End of story. End of my involvement in said urination contest. Run along.
