The recent Trans-cult stuff got started in England and Scandinavia and then spread to the USA and elsewhere. I PRAY that the changes they have made there in the past couple of years will soon spread here as well.
Much of the changes in Sweden happened after a documentary movie was put out!
One hour, with English subtitles. Came out 5 years ago. One of the main people is a girl that transed to a boy and then detransitioned. She grew up having a different view of things in her head. The trans-cult convinced her that her issues were REALLY because that she was a boy.
Lots of interviews with pro-trans doctors (they have amazingly stupid responses) as well as anti-trans people.

By now England, Sweden, Finland and several other countries are still ahead of the curve, but this time by having made giving kids sex change drugs illegal.
Fanatics are beyond persuasion, but I believe the example of these countries doing 180 is a good argument to use on these misguided people supporting it, who think they’re doing it out of compassion.
