The heartbeat bill is a proper application of representative government. That is the idea of the legislature. A ballot measure that will override that is an example of democracy run amok. Actually, I would be more concerned with judicial interference , which is the usual course.
They have to get a 60 percent majority to adopt the open-kill amendment; we just have to get 40 percent (plus one) to stop it.
A winning statewide campaign could probably be done for $30 million.
There is a 95 percent chance this can be done. There is only a 30-40 percent chance someone will do it.
Have the Republicans/Conservatives in Florida recruit an army of good ol’ boys with diesel trucks and have them roll through the liberal neighborhoods really really loud all day and night until they get fed up and leave Florida.
Make them all move to NYC, Cali, Seattle, Portland, Chicago
If an amendment election is held separately from the general election, the abortionists will win eventually in every state with popular amendment of initiative voting. The baby killers are very concerned that babies get killed and normal people think it doesn’t concern them and won’t vote while the killers get to the polls en masse so that a subject supported by even a small minority will pass to become part of the State Constitution and Abortion will become universal with NO restrictions at all.
