One would think the Operatives be happy enough in DESTROYING Ukraine, after DESTROYING Syria and Libya, and almost doing the same to Egypt...but I guess they NEVER stop...until someone actually does stop them.

This is my suspicion as well. Given a demonstrably complex world, any notion that there is one shiny white hat good side without any stain and one dingy black hat bad side without any value leads to error. Whatever else, this is a multi-polar world and we are ourselves in a multi-polar nation of competing politics, economics and culture. Such complexity requires one upset by complexity to choose "whitewash" as a favorite color.
