Pat Buchanan also took votes from Bush in 2000.

True. But Nader had more than enough votes to topple Gore.

I;ve always said they didn't shoot enough Kennedy's.

Serial perverts, rapists , Ted Kenndey playing footsie the Soviets back in day and leaving a young woman to drown in Chappaqudick.

The whole clan are a collection of the worst of predatory wealth and privilege.

The Democrats made a major effort just before the election to persuade Nader voters to switch to Gore. Of course if the media had not called Florida for Gore while the polls were still open in the panhandle counties, Bush probably would have won by a big enough margin that Gore could not have tried to overturn the election.

Bush's narrow victory in NH was also essential. And of course Gore's home state voted against him.

Bottom line. Nader was a spoiler. And it could happen in any tight state with RFKjr.

Nader may have sincerely believed both parties were rotten and didn’t care which one he hurt. Unlike Perot who clearly had it in for George Bush and wanted him to lose in 1992. Whether RFK Jr. would hurt Biden or Trump more is uncertain (my guess is Biden which is why the Democrats are treating him shabbily).

I will agree Democrats are treating him poorly. However Trump spent some time tearing him down over the past week. Maybe some concern there?
