The silver lining is the Biden Administration is doing more to protect Israel.

The Biden administration is doing as little as it can to support Israel, while also trying not to enrage Palestinians/Hamas sympathizers. Biden is working both sides, since there is an election coming up. Otherwise, Israel would be on its own with only lip service to Israel's efforts to be rid of Hamas. In essence, the Biden administration doesn't really support Israel the way it needs to be supported. In fact, Biden wants Israel to stop its efforts in Gaza. Playing both sides is not a winning strategy.
