I am currently trying to hire 2 software developers. I have received about 500 resumes in the past 2 months. 90% of them are Indian and under 30. So it’s hard to find a large pool of non-Indian talent. However, the most qualified by far was a 55-year old white guy. I am making him an offer.

Thank you. I’ve heard this complaint from both my son and son-in-law, both senior software engineers. Indians, once they get into a management position, only hire their own - and everyone is A-OK with that, a White would be brought up on charges of racism, discrimination, etc.
My brother owns a small engineering firm and hires White engineers - he has more business than he can handle.
