I’m not even close to being an expert but this can’t be an effective strategy!
They should’ve knocked that “camp” down earlier today & immediately barricade anyone from entering the quad area.
Scary. The police have to be able to know where the crowd is at all times. If the crowd is to the sides and behind the police when they take action, they police are in deep trouble.

I saw a TV reporter interviewing a bunch of Hamas supporters...Three women portrayed themselves as "victims" of attack by pro-Israel supporters...
I am not 100% sure...But, let's assume that "real" Israel supporters attacked the Hamas supporters...Not a bunch of anarchists...Bad public relations move...Letting Hamas supporters play "victim"...
LA County Sheriff's Dept buses are in the federal building parking lot...If Hamas supporters are arrested, where would they be processed? Maybe LAPD West LA station...It is located on Santa Monica Blvd...
