The TV reports make it seem like the entire campus is under siege. My daughter is a professor at VCU. She was on campus the other night when the cops rolled in on the protestors. She didn’t really even notice because it was so tiny. Half a block away, life went on unaffected.

If a visitor to the zoo climbed into the bear cage to take pictures of it and it mauled him, I am not on either of the “sides”. He shouldn’t have been in there and it sucks that the savage animal attacked him.
If he starts saying that MY children now need to go fight the bear or that I need to give him money to fight the bear or that we need to remove the bear from the zoo and put it in my house so that he feels safer or if he says, “Im just going to keep firing rounds into that cage so if you care about the bear you’d better go remove it.” ….. I will complain about it.
If animal rights activists start bitching about him firing into the cage, I’m not with them but I sure as hell wouldn’t want to see them be killed for feeling that way. Even if they are whacko leftists.
