My Family have been pop-ins since I was a little kid. I guessing it was depression behavior hold-over.
I don’t do it to anybody without asking if it’s ok if I stop over.

Do I mind ? with friends - sometimes...with family ? no.

I have a friend we grew up with, who now lives in San Diego, and he pop-in calls once a year to see if we are still alive. Too Funny !

I agree - family is different. I just wish my son would let me know ahead of time so that I can have something ready for them to eat, or order pizza or something.

I guess pop-ins years ago were much more frequent, what with far less communication devices.

Lol I just thought of a good app. Have a list of potential pop-ins filed in your phone so that if their phones are in your immediate area, you get a head’s up alert. It wouldn’t surprise me to see that happen lol.

How is popping in related to the depression?
