Dinner about ready to come out of small oven.

We’ve gotten to where we almost exclusively use our small (countertop) oven!

I can cook an entire meal, easily, there. Even easier if we’re also grilling the protein, outdoors, at same time.

I can’t remember the last time we even turned on either of the range’s dual ovens. Christmas, I think.

UPDATE: Neighbor’s stolen truck......

He got his truck back today.

It was scratched up a bit but no bad damage.

Everything he had in the truck is gone, his wallet with money and cards, garage door opener, his suitcase full of clothes for his trip, his walker, his little step ladder that he needs to get in and out.

He has severe leg problems.

When the perp ran he took the keys with a key fob for the truck and neighbors wife’s car, house keys.

So they are having to change all the locks.

There was a women with a baby, a young girl, and three men who all jumped in the truck and took off.

Neighbor said the reason he helped was because of the baby.

Four have been caught and have been taken to jail in Holbrook, the driver is hiding out but they know who he is.

Since the crime was committed off the Rez they will be tried in Federal Court and they have to post bail and get lawyers just like we would.

Our neighbor may see some JUSTICE!

Yes, Jane, I’m doing rather well, using my smaller oven along with the convection oven my nephew gave me a while back.

I have a double oven (small & large) combination electric range that my late SIL (my nephew’s mom) gave my late mom & me about 20 yrs ago after our previous one blew up.

The larger oven was taking way too long to preheat and might be fixed with a new heating element. But, coming only four months after replacing my water heater, I’m reluctant to ante up another two to three hundred dollars.

My plumbing issues are somewhat minor right now and I’m hoping to borrow a little time-at least until I may have a extra money in July. A lovely Christian MAGA couple/famiy pays me a land use agreement fee each summer to target shoot in my woods. They have 5 home-schooled children. The oldest 2 are twin daughters, who are both nurses in different Baltimore hospitals. The older son works with his dad in HVAC. Their youngest daugher is 13 and now taking part in the target shooting and their youngest, a boy, looks to be a future veterinarian. And, again, they are MAGA and we’ve talked Trump for hours in my house.

Finally, I’m hoping to resolve my HP printer problem this weekend. Last week, I printed a couple articles(about 8 pgs) as usual. Yesterday, I set up my first document job and nothing happened. Then I saw both of my black & tricolor cartridge lights flashing. I tried troubleshooting with no luck . . . . . . I did partially hook up the Epson printer my nephew gave me but it needs a black cartridge which I hope to buy this weekend.
