The White House condemned the violent takeover Tuesday of a building at Columbia University by pro-Palestinian activists who had previously been warned to take down their encampment or face suspension from the institution.
The occupation of a building, which included three janitors being held hostage, was just the latest among dozens of protests and riots at universities across the company, some of which have included antisemitic rhetoric and violence.
Notably, Biden blamed then-President Donald Trump for a wave of violence in 2020 when the Black Lives Matter movement, which was backed by Democrats, launched protests that turned into riots in dozens of American cities.
“Does anyone believe there will be less violence in America if Donald Trump is reelected?” Biden said in August 2020.
Biden also supported anti-Israel protesters last week, saying while he condemned antisemitism, he also condemned those who did not understand the Palestinians’ grievances — implying that the activists had a legitimate point.

There will likely be a convention like they had in 1968. Maybe even be a protest at the GOP convention, but if so, that will work to the GOP’s advantage, since Trump will just point out that it’s the Dems who are doing it, which will hurt them in a number of different ways.
They are willing to burn this country to the ground, before letting Orange Man Bad back in the WH.

Someone on the establishment left was controlling the BLM/Antifa riots. We know that because they stopped as soon as the polling showed they were hurting Biden. They stopped cold.
I suspect the same is true for the Terrorist Lives Matter riots going on today. You can see the uniformity of the tent cities—someone is financing and organizing these riots. This is not just a bunch of concerned citizens showing up with their own tents. So probably the funding will be yanked at a strategic time.
But these riots may be slipping out of establishment leftist control.
I remember 1968. If similar riots happen this year the DNC convention will be Muslims and blue hair elite college children rioting outside and 50 year old lesbians and teacher’s union hacks inside wondering what to do.
Are they allowed to be mad at the woke, super-PC’ers rioting outside? That will seem wrong because, well, oppression and diversity. But they have to be mad because the rioters are hurting D power and money. And the rioters haven’t yet figured out that the issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution. So they are supposed to shut up and let their superiors inside keep power.
