Another crazed felon, I just wish the cops had a safer apprehension plan.

Where I live, when it was first suggested semi-automatic weapons could possibly be confiscated, our sheriff and others in neighboring communities stood together saying they flat refused to do this to law abiding citizens. Jobs be damned. I was quite proud of them. They did this publicly in an announcement at one of the court houses standing together.

A "safer apprehension plan" would doubtless raise calls of JBT tactics by Al Pimpton and company. I wouldn't be a cop in today's America for all the whiksy in Ireland.

>It’s easy. Don’t be a felon.

Felons belong/exist in jails/prisons.

Free Men enjoy their Rights.

The protectors of the State, under ZERO obligation to defend the People? Whom would & have violated the Rights of the People? That defend & shelter those ‘rotten apples’?
Getting shown they’re NOT impervious? How’s that boot polish taste, statist?

Your attempts to gaslight this have failed as well and it’s utterly disgusting that you’d subtly condone the actions of a felon killing 4 officers. Marshalls cannot control the actions of a judge who have released felons from their obligations to society. Their job is to capture felons who are on the run. Stating facts is not akin to “bootlicking.” A term aptly utilized by those who have disdain for any form of law enforcement. The situation that played out here has 0 different o do with any form of “gun control.” Those attempting to conflate the two are attempting to take their crusade into areas it doesn’t belong. It’s simple, violent felon evading warrants, Marshalls have a potential location, tragedy ensued in the execution of their duties. Period, end of story .

I imagine them high-fiving and fist-bumping after the adrenaline rush.

The point is that a gun confiscation operation is very dangerous. In this case there is an 8 to 1 ratio of casualties. Waco started out as an ATF operation. Many gun owners will not voluntarily surrender their weapons. I think cops will think twice before enforcing a left wing order to disarm the populace.

Yup. I never in a million years would have thought members of FR would look upon an incident like this with sympathy for a cop killer. Sign of the evil times I suppose.

There’s a few that throw in with the criminal element bunch. Makes me wonder if we have disgruntled former parolees afoot.

Firearms Felon.

Sure, he killed four people, but his real crime was illegally having a gun.

I just wish the cops had a safer apprehension plan.

There's still a lot to know about what actually went down during this arrest, but it's very troubling. It simply should not happen.

This kind of stuff hits close to home, as my son is on the local Tactical Team that serves warrants, just like this. They have to know the landscape before they approach a house, and be prepared for anything.

Semi-auto rifles have been around since 1903. Yes, 1903, that is 121 years ago. They could even be purchased through the mail still 1968.
Yet they were only considered a problem in the 1980s when the mental institutions were closed down in the 1970s and the crazies dumped on the streets. Then the mass murder rate by crazies took off like a rocket.
