Right. The Tories are far behind in every UK election poll. And they know it. So this looks to me as just an attempt to shore up some support.
My fearless prediction: It won’t work. Labour will crush the Tories in the next general election (which must be held by January 2025 at the latest).
The only question: Will the new Labour government quietly let all those booted out back in?
The UK has the same problem we do.
The letter after the name means bugger all any more.
The only reason political parties still exist is to give voters the illusion of choice.
A UK pol is either loyal to their former constitutional monarchy or to its Deep State.
And the vast majority of the UK’s pols are Deep State.
