When I was much younger I thought that maybe the FBI and CIA were monitoring candidates for office to prevent a ‘Manchurian’ candidate situation. I thought of them as patriotic watchdogs only, not steering politics - but assuring that our freedoms were protected and that our open society was not used against us.
How naive I was (and to some extent maybe still am). The founding fathers never envisioned having totally secretive agencies who have almost no checks on their power. It would have been folly to include them in our Constitution.

HAVANA(Reuters)-Philip Agee, a former CIA spy who exposed its undercover operations in Latin America in a 1975 book, died in Havana, the Cuban Communist Party newspaper Granma said on Wednesday.
Agee, 72, died on Monday night, the newspaper said, calling him a “loyal friend of Cuba and staunch defender of the people’s struggle for a better world.”.
His widow, German ballet dancer Giselle Roberge, told friends he had been in hospital since December 15 and did not survive surgery for perforated ulcers.
Agee worked for the Central Intelligence Agency for 12 years in Washington, Ecuador, Uruguay and Mexico. He resigned in 1968 in disagreement with U.S. support for military dictatorships in Latin America and became one of the first to blow the whistle on the CIA’s activities around the world....

Here is something that the CIA hasn’t figured out:
Think about it. Intelligent people already see the fingerprints of the CIA throughout government and the media. Domestic interference and theft of the treasury, as well as denying Constitutional rights to Citizens. Eventually, everyone is going to be angry.
They were used to attack Trump by Obama, and that started this feud. The Trump policies are greatly favored by the American people, and keeping democrats in power is going to destroy the nation and Constitution. The CIA will become the open enemy of everyone, and the ultimate dismantling and punishment will be worse. Even if it’s not Trump, it’s going to happen. Soon the people are going to know that’s it’s not democrats, it’s you, behind the attacks on Trump and the average citizen.
No, I am not threatening anyone. Ask your think tanks and run your computer scenarios. Always ends the same doesn’t it? You cannot be socialist/fascists and not have it all turn against you eventually. It’s far better to step back now, and serve the people, then to charge into full meltdown.
First thing you do is come clean about 44. Who he is, who his family worked for, and your involvement. Then come clean about 2012, and subsequent elections. Come clean about the cartels, weapons, and drugs. Then Jan 6th. , and what you have done to Congress. Pledge to avoid domestic interference and back it with a plan., and return treasury money. Get out of the media, stop threatening and founding them. Let the free press be free. ROFLOL, never going to happen. You would rather destroy the nation and Constitution you pledged to protect.
