small world. We actually drove by this wreck at 2 am while the perps were still trapped in the vehicle. The one thing I will say is that it was a very bad location for a PIT maneuver and it’s no surprise the vehicle ended up wrapped around a pole. The famblies of the young scholars will be getting paid by the state, unfortunately. There is plenty of open highway on either side of this small town and I just can’t fathom why the deputy choose to do it on a narrow street among houses, businesses, etc.
According to this report, these idiots pit them at 110 mph. That is insane...They're lucky they didn't kill a half dozen innocent people on the road. When a pursuit gets too dangerous, stop the pursuit to protect everyone else. These guys never got the memo.
