I’m not sure what federally could be done as voting is a states issue. I don’t totally buy the election interference claim, as republicans have prevailed down ticket in local races. It’s an easy fix to replicate those races to reflect the top of the ticket, if a top of the ticket fix was done.
Since the Republican Representatives, and Senators in Congress for various States are elected by the people of the State, they could have taken a more active role in pushing Republican-controlled State Legislatures to enact voter fraud protection. It wasn't until the 2020 election that some Republican-controlled States finally took steps to protect voter's ballots. But not enough of them have, and they're still using Dominion machines. Equally, each State has a Republican Committee that is responsible for finding candidates to run against Democrats. What have they been doing these past 20 years to find candidates who will be tough on voter fraud? New York State's Republican Committee has been AWOL for years when it comes to finding viable candidates to run against RATS. That's why there will never be another Republican Governor, or Republican U.S. Senators representing the State in Congress ever again. There were plenty of options in years past to take action in the States, but nobody cared enough to do anything.
You'd think that Florida's State Legislature, where hanging chads, and Gore's recount nonsense took place, would have done something to combat attempts at stealing elections. Republicans had the Governor's office and both the House and the Senate in 2000. In fact, Republicans have consistently held the Governor's office, and a large majority in both Houses of the Legislature since 1999, but never addressed the voter fraud that occurred in Democrat-run counties like Broward, Miami-Dade, and others over the years, until the 2020 election brought voter fraud back to the front.
