It’s a Taurus. You can tell by the tail lights. I’ve seen a million of them (and I only buy Fords).
That stretch of the Conchester ***ALWAYS*** has heavy traffic during the day. Always. A crash was inevitable at that speed. Frankly I’m amazed that they didn’t hit another car or three. The two major reasons for the widening project are safety and traffic density. It’s a nightmare driving down that stretch of road during the evening rush hour. It doesn’t start to open up until you get past Chichester and the speed limit goes up to 45, mainly because it becomes more rural.
That 2001 Taurus was my second Ford (first was a 1981 Escort) and most likely my last Ford. Nothing but problems with both.
