Before we “cut the cord”, I remember commercial blocks where at one moment someone is asking for $19.99 per month to helpo abused stray dogs, AND WITHIN THE SAME BLOCK another person would ask for $19.99 per month to feed children in Africa or Appalachia. Very telling of our culture (or lack of it) today...

Not too many modern American parents (would be grandparents) consider 18 to be a prime birthing year.
everyone quotes the exact same statistic and accepts it as gospel truth, which I believe is only an estimate made by the US Census Bureau.
