It is a STATE of New York Law that applies to State level candidates. Not Federal. This is total BS, not to mention the book entry statute of limitations ran out years ago. On the Federal level, the Federal elections decided this was a NOTHING burger. The President is appointed by electors chosen in the States under the authority of the State Legislatures.
