Anti-Israel protesters at NYU admit they have no idea what they’re protesting: ‘I wish I was more educated’

Two Columbia University students who rushed to join NYU’s violent anti-Israel rally are going viral after admitting they had no idea what the protest was about — and wished they were “more educated.”

The unidentified students rattled off their clueless rationale on the steps of the NYU campus in downtown Manhattan as a slew of NYPD cops clad in riot gear stood in the background, as seen in footage viewed more than 3 million times since being shared by former Mayor Rudy Giuliani late Wednesday.

“I think the main goal is just showing our support for Palestine and demanding that NYU stop … I honestly don’t know all of what NYU is doing,” one admitted when asked about the protest’s purpose.

“Anti-Israel protesters at NYU admit they have no idea what they’re protesting”

That’s why they’re so effective. They are OBVIOUSLY being paid. The question is by whom, and whether there’s some kind of pay scale, such as:
1. Show up: $50
2. Get arrested: $200
3. Spend 1 night in jail: $500
4. Seriously damage a police car....

An additional question should be , “are you being paid to be here?”

There’s enough money in the world to pay activists. Think of all the independent funders, NGOs, and people of good will. Think of all the social change that is underway, If you really want it, your salary will be covered.

The parents of these prestigious colleges can now know that they are paying tens of thousands in tuition so their little prodigies can learn how to go hog wild and pig crazy.

They are NOT "activists" they are committing Terrorist Acts for Money and these organizations are Financing Terrorist Activities. This used to be a Major Felony worthy of the Death Penalty or Life in Prison.

Moving more money to mass protest
Sometimes, to win the game, you have to change the rules—and that is what movements can do when they are valued and supported. Philanthropists committed to wide-scale change have an opportunity to add mass mobilization to their portfolio of transformative strategies. Already, large funding institutions like Ford Foundation are recognizing that mass movements have significant ripple effects on other strategies for change.

There is a robust field of expertise that informs funders on how to invest in strategies like advocacy and service, but less so for mass protest. At the Ayni Institute, we are developing more materials for philanthropists to better understand and resource mass mobilizations. By acknowledging some of the main barriers that have led funders to underestimate mass protest in the past, we can start to create a new sense among philanthropists that culture shift is worth tackling head on.

In the next and final article of this three-part series, Carlos Saavedra will dive deeper into the ways funders can recognize groups that are driving mass protest and supply them with resources to sustain the energy of a movement.

I attended a “Divest South Africa” at my university in the 1980s. I didn’t really care about South Africa one way or the other and knew little about the situation. My girlfriend at the time was a standard NE fem-lib - Just as ignorant as me, but far more convinced in her ignorance....

What I learned from the rally is how many outsiders and agents provocateur show up for such things. I could easily tell that 90% of the people there were not from our university. It piqued my curiosity and attending other “protests” as an observer, it seems many are simply losers in “rent a mobs” with a tiny core of marxist organizers

BTW, I should thank the “Divest South Africa” people for sparking my life-long hatred of leftists and Marxists everywhere.

All your Soros belong to us
I have a confession. George Soros pays everyone. Every single progressive blog is awash in Soros money. Every Democratic candidate, every elected official, every non-Fox Noise reporter, and the school lunch staff are all being paid off.

Another confession: I’m not actually in the Pacific Northwest, I was just assigned the region at a secret George Soros meeting here on the French Riviera. After I get done blogging I get in my speedboat and hang out with models.

While models are often accused of being less than brainy, the ones here are fairly smart. Just today one of them told me that Matt Drudge just makes stuff up. N’est-ce pas?
