Khalil al-Hayya, a top Hamas official, on Wednesday told the Associated Press (AP) in Istanbul that the terror group would agree to a ceasefire of five years or more, and agree to lay down its weapons, if an independent Palestinian state were created along the pre-1967 borders.
Al-Hayya has represented Hamas in negotiations for a ceasefire deal and prisoner swap.
In the interview with AP, he said that Hamas wants to join the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) headed by Palestinian Authorty (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas, to form a unified government for Gaza, Judea, and Samaria.
According to al-Hayya, Hamas is willing to accept "a fully sovereign Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and the return of Palestinian refugees in accordance with the international resolutions" along the pre-1967 borders.

They made a request knowing that it was completely unacceptable. They’re negotiating in bad faith. Game on, release the dogs of war.

How cute! The rat vermin wants his cookie back AND some milk, in exchange for more breeder rats and a promise not to spread its rat disease for five years.
Praise Allah!.. Er, I mean “Raize Rafah!”
“pre-1967 borders”...
Hahahahaha 🤣
Wipe Hamas out entirely, expunge them from this planet.
Expunge their supporters . No remainder.
Don’t keep any Palestinian prisoners either.
Execute them all, dump their remains in the Med.
Do the world and the body of humanity a great favor.
Get rid of them all
along the pre-1967 borders
That should spell impossible.
Islam is the problem, you know
Ever since we have started allowing wholesale amounts of these people in, it’s been downhill ever since.
The ALL need to be invited to return to their nations of origin.
Only those who swear a blood oath to be, and remain, loyal to the United States and our traditional values, should any be allowed to remain.
hell no
you dont get rewarded for murdering a bunch of women and children.
you get dead
Good one - keeping
Yep. My kid had to see these moron types protesting for Palestine at UT yesterday. He held his tongue but he was tempted. It’s disgusting. They raped children in front of their mothers and then murdered them. These people are pure evil and yet, silly college students, mostly liberal white females, are protesting for Gaza. Sickens me. Going to grab the kid today and seeing if he can transfer into Texas A&M or some other school we can afford (couldn’t afford Baylor).
From Hamas's standpoint, there is good cause for optimism. The Israeli Army broke off their attack in south Gaza. Hamas still has hostages. The US is beset with pro-Hamas demonstrations and Jews are under menace at elite US colleges and universities. Netanyahu is beleaguered politically and Israel's government and society are deeply fractured. Israel and Iran have exchanged direct attacks. The US has sanctioned an Israeli army unit and has apparently green-lighted International Criminal Court proceedings against Israeli officials.
Soon, Israel must begin a final assault on south Gaza, which will be a painful and costly undertaking certain to stoke more demonstrations and sanctions efforts against Israel. In the US, that will spur the ongoing shift of America's Democratic Party from resolute to qualified support for Israel as Democrats bid cater to the growing and increasingly influential American Muslim community.
Indeed! Their “Allah” will know his own. Allahu Fubar!
I was thinking about that 5 but maybe 7 years of “peace.” Don’t do it Israel! Not ready yet.
Once Hamas got everything else they wanted, the ceasefire would be over. Israel knows that. Everyone with any sense knows that.
But that won’t stop the appeasers and the enablers from praising Hamas for their “reasonableness”. Is the West ready to be fooled again?
Gonna be an interesting day for planet Earth 🌍🌎🌏 ... on that particular day /a wee bit of redundancy
And most won’t even understand exactly what is happening.

“Is the West ready to be fooled again?”
Always.
Give them Sinai as their new homeland. Build the country along the Gulf of Eilat so there is water that can be desalinated for farming and drinking. This would create a new economy for revenues. They can have an airport, however airspace over northern Sinai is restricted airspace.
They can build an entirely green nation. Companies and countries can contribute their technology for a petroleum free society. Vehicles, housing and other infrastructure will be green. The new green society will be a model for all the world to see.
Move the UN there. Invite the dignitaries and all the cool people to the new UN and on the night of voting on Palestinian membership to the UN, nuke the place from orbit, just to be sure.

Move the UN there as well as creating a new Davos for the WEF folks. Invite the dignitaries and all the cool people to the new UN and on the night of voting on Palestinian membership to the UN, nuke the place from orbit... just to be sure.
