Yes, the lots were worth 500-700K. However, a lot of those “houses” in Lahina were literally tin roof shacks. They could be rebuilt for $15-35K. About the same price as it costs to build a garage.

A lot of the older houses had no insulation. No heat. No AC. Corrugated metal roofs.

That is true....The thing is...many don't have that money.

Yet..what pisses me off...is we are sending MILLIONS of dollars to other countries. And these folks in HI...got $700 bucks.

And we have uncontrollable ILLEGAL immigration.

This ain't the Country I grew up in..anymore.

My guess is that is the plan.........I'm sure Barry Sotero is behind a lot of this.
