Russia is able to divert to explosive manufacture all the hydrocarbons the EU refuses to buy.
At this point Russia is simply trying to blow up Ukrainian forces, sparing Ukraine’s cities and towns.

If no: Then we can reasonably dismiss it.
If yes: Then you agree that Putin is a dangerous war-mongering land-grabbing autocrat who is likely (after Ukraine's annexation) to turn his attention to the next victim on his list.
