I agree with your point but that will likely happen anyway. There are enough anti-Trump RINOs that will happily vote with Dems to keep Trump out.
Not right after an election. And if we do our jobs there will be enough MAGA reps to elect a strong speaker. That is what is needed…..strength. Committee assignments should be based on behavior. Carrot and stick. Proper and intelligent use of power. Fearlessness.
Trump is going to need decent partners in the house and senate.
