In WW1, after the Ottoman Empire joined the Axis side, England and France told they subcultures within the OE that if the rose up against their OE master, the Allies would reward them by setting up new nations run by those subcultures. By then the Jews were the majority within Jerusalem. Thus, the Jews were promised their nation, as other folks were promised their nations. Thus, the Palestinian Mandate.

And when the Muslims howled about Israel getting their own nation too, the Allies delayed until WW2. Thus a compromise was made: a two-state solution. Those two states were Jordan and Israel. The Jews living in the new nation of Jordan had to move to Israel, and Arabs living in the new nation of Israel had to move to Jordan. Only, the new people moved to Jordan put up a fuss and tried to take over. Thus making them unlivable in both Jordan and Israel.

Later, Egypt and other Muslim nations tried again to take over Israel...from Gaza. Thus, Israel took over that land. Egypt doesn't want those people back because they're nothing but troublemakers for Egypt, just like they are for Israel.

And the precious youth you talked about, have all been taught from birth to destroy Israel "from the river to the sea". Have they learned their lesson to not do so? Evidently, the "children" haven't been spanked enough.

After WW II, German children raised in the Hitler Youth to regard Hitler as a demigod were committing terror acts against the occupying allies. It took years, but they eventually got straightened out.

I agree that as they are found, they will continue to act out their training, but there is no better teacher than total defeat. It worked for Germany, and eventually the Werwolven gave up their belligerence and went back to school. At present, since Hamas has not been totally defeated yet, it is premature to hope for an epiphany from the children. But even so, they are still children. When the total defeat comes, the epiphany may follow.

At any rate, I cannot regard it as anything other than a terrible tragedy that children are being killed. But the Hamas “health department” cannot be trusted when they allege this is being done indiscriminately and deliberately by Israel, or that some staggering number were killed. I do not want to believe that, but must have facts to refute it.
