Yes, it's in Ukraine's best interest, but not in Zelensky's. If/when that war ends, Z has nowhere to go. Other than Biden's garage or spare room.

Maybe there should be a rumor that Zelensky has information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of Hillary Clinton.
