Ebby, an answer to this question?

FYI, the answer to the excommunication question is that the Church already recognizes Biden as a sinner.

pro-abortion President Joe Biden, whose dissent from Catholic moral teaching on the sanctity of life, homosexuality, transgender ideology, and other issues has prompted high-ranking bishops and cardinals to call for his excommunication.

FYI, the answer to the excommunication question is that the Church already recognizes Biden as a sinner.

The reason excommunication comes up is that the Church does distinguish between Catholic sinners who on occasion fall short--which would be all of us--and Catholics who are actively playing for the other team.

It would make sense to identify Biden as not permitted to call himself Catholic unless he publicly recants his previous (demonic) public positions and worthily confesses (privately) his sins to a priest.

That's a redundant statement. The Catholic Church has always recognized that all humans are sinners, even the deceased who are now recognized as saints.

I guess our humanist "pope" can't find it himself to call on us to be servants of God. Instead we have:

Pope calls historians to be experts in and servants of Humanity
