Actually, it happened. Many districts posted very high turnout. Higher than 2008, 12 and 16.
Some were reporting more votes in 2020 for Biden even over Obama by large margins.
Had to spread all of those stuffed ballots around.
Yes, those things did happen. Turnout was at a record high in 2020 and both presidential candidates set records in many places for the number of votes received.
But nothing like routinely “90%” turnout anywhere, and the crap people have been throwing around EVERY year — not just 2020 — along the lines of “over 100% turnout in some Philadelphia precincts” has yet to be backed up with any proof (in Philly or anywhere else).
However if anyone HAS proof of something like that, I sure wish they’d post it because that would be some very interesting (and damning) data.
