Well, we're not, but if we were it's not because we're taking our geopolitical obligations seriously. It's because we're p....ing away billions upon billions funding welfare, illegals, NGOs, and "green" corporate boondoggles, to name but a few of the worthless piggies sucking the Federal teat.
Says one of the worthless piggies sucking at the Federal teat.
The “we’re broke “ claim by the usuals, while not false, is classic trolling.
For decades the US spent trillions in anticipation with a conflict with the Soviet Union, and now that it is here(let’s be real the Soviet Union was always Russia with the others including Warsaw pact members being used and exploited) the usuals cry deficits, debt, and border security.
Your points are well said
The idea that 60 billion or 200 billion or whatever number they throw out is all new spending is a false narrative, but they know that.
Likewise aid to Ukraine or border security is a false narrative. Border issue is a political one not a financial one. The problem existed long before this war and will exist after unless the will to “fix” it is found
So if we fixed our border problems we could afford these useless go nowhere wars. Well, you go first.
Excellent points. The military remains an all volunteer force as well.
We have no ‘geopolitical obligations AT ALL to unkraine.
Zelenski doesn’t need us to buy him any more houses or yachts.
Screw ukraine.
Our southern border is all that matters
