"We will be taxed" no doubt. The US takes in $4.7 trillion of taxes. But then it spends $6.7 trillion. The extra $2 trillion is what supports the stuff Congress does to make themselves feel good and garner donations, things like protecting Ukraine's borders and the foreign aid laundromat ... and that money is created out of thin air - a credit entry inked on the balance sheet, "borrowed" from the "future".
But the "future" just pays interest and the now nearly $35 trillion U.S. debt never declines. The effect of creating new money is to dilute the value of everyone's cash. The GNP is $28 trillion one day, and $30 trillion the next, but the gross product of the nation hasn't changed a bit, there's just more dollars channeled into the money supply, paying for the pol's whims, pork, and boondoggles. Voila, 7% "inflation" (dilution) with the stroke of a pen.
Of course, the pols cheerleaders say that shows "the economy is GROWING!!, it's the biggest growth ever!! There's 30 bucks where there once was only 28!! This is the most robust economy ever!!". No, the amount of Product in the Nation is the same, it just costs more money to buy a part of it. Money is diluted.
"Dilution"? Nah ... I know, let's call it "Inflation". That sounds cool; it sounds like we're gaining! Yeah, that's the ticket!
Weimar, anyone?

You know that the houses and yacht stories are fake but you still throw that in.
The southern border crisis existed decades before this war and will exist even if we stop support for Ukraine, because it is a political issue, not one of enough funds, or abrams or 155 ammunition.
Trump was trying to solve the problem. He was thwarted by polititians in both parties.
We could vote for 200 trillion to secure southern border and the result would be more illegals and better cell phones and larger debit cards unless underlying reasons for crisis are felt with.
The laws exist to secure the border, “we” are choosing not to enforce them
Aiding Ukraine and the border crisis are not related
